Nicole est la fondatrice et propriétaire de Chien ZEN Dog, entreprise spécialisée en services professionnels canins bilingues, offerts en collaboration avec Pet Intel et Emotional Well-Being. Elle propose des services en personne, des programmes en ligne et hybrides, ainsi que des services spécialisés en entraînement de chiens d’assistance.
Détentrice du titre Certified Behavior Consultant Canine – Knowledge Assessed (CBCC-KA) et ayant complété la formation professionnelle L.E.G.S.® Applied Ethology Family Dog Mediation® Professional Course , elle porte aussi le titre de "Certified Family Dog Mediator - FDM". Elle est membre de la Canadian Association of Professional Dog Trainers (CAPDT), de l’APDT, de l’IAABC et de la Canadian Association of Service Dog Trainers (CASDT). Elle poursuit activement sa formation continue, notamment en éthologie appliquée et en comportement canin.
Nicole s’implique également au sein de la CAPDT, où elle contribue bénévolement aux travaux du Service Dog Committee et du Professional Standards & National Curriculum Committee.
Sa pratique repose sur des principes scientifiques, une approche éthique et le respect du bien-être physique, émotionnel et psychologique du chien.

Nicole Lapratte is the Founder and Owner of Chien ZEN Dog, a company specializing in bilingual professional canine services, offered in collaboration with Pet Intel and Emotional Well-Being. She provides in-person services, online and hybrid programs, as well as specialized service dog training services.
She holds the Certified Behavior Consultant Canine – Knowledge Assessed (CBCC-KA) credential and she has completed the L.E.G.S.® Applied Ethology Family Dog Mediation® Professional Course and she is now credentialed with the Certified Family Dog Mediator - FDM.
Nicole is a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Dog Trainers (CAPDT), APDT, IAABC, and the Canadian Association of Service Dog Trainers (CASDT). She actively pursues continuing education, with a particular focus on applied ethology and canine behavior.
Nicole is also actively involved with the CAPDT, where she volunteers her time and expertise on the Service Dog Committee and the Professional Standards & National Curriculum Committee.
Her practice is grounded in scientific principles, an ethical framework, and a deep respect for the dog’s physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
